Based on this charter, the Department of Student Affairs strives towards:

  • Establishing a campus community that is knowledgeable and guided.

  • Cultivating the spirit of organization and volunteerism.

  • Managing a variety of comfortable and complete facilities as well as services, based on certain standards in line with our efficient services practices.

  • Overseeing students™ welfare and harmony.

  • Developing noble students.

  • Working efficiently, quickly and wisely.

  • Providing adequate, dedicated, committed, trained, disciplined, responsible and productive staff.  

  • Ensuring that the Student Affairs Department is sensitive and responsive towards the needs of its client, student, university, community and country.

  • Improving the prestige and status of the administrative profession in the Department of Student Affairs.

Besides the above intentions, the Career Development Centre (CDC), Department of Student Affairs also strives to ensure that all programmes and activities conducted by CDC will enable students to:

  • Acquire not only the graduate employability competency but also relevant core skills, qualities and attributes required within the profession (GSA).
  • Develop their employability through learning, training and improved communication skills.
  • Demonstrate characteristics that will enable them to compete for jobs both in the public and private sector.
